Plump has no account and shows no ads. Most controls are on your iPhone. Our app uses outside services that hold some data. You can email us about those records.
Your controls
| Control | Where to find it | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Your camera | iPhone Settings, Privacy and Security, Camera | Plump stops counting your squats. The rest still works, but you cannot earn coins. |
| Screen Time permission | iPhone Settings, Screen Time, or the screen inside Plump | The lock turns off, monitoring stops, and Apple removes the block. Your coins and history stay. |
| App Lock | Plump, then Lock | Turns the lock off and clears the block Apple put on your apps. Plump keeps your list for next time. |
| Notifications | iPhone Settings, Notifications, Plump | The reminder you set stops coming. |
| Everything at once | Delete the Plump app | Removes your coins, squats, goal, setup answers, and app picks from your phone. |
| Data held by our services | Email us | Ask us to find, show, or delete records held by PostHog or Superwall. |
What stays on your phone
These never leave your phone, whatever your settings say:
- Camera pictures. Plump reads them and drops them.
- Which apps you locked. Apple gives Plump a blank tag with no name.
- Your screen time numbers. Apple counts them in its own private box.
- Your age group, goal, habits, and setup answers.
- Your coins, your coin list, and how many squats you have done.
What leaves your phone
We send setup steps, permission results, and time spent in setup to PostHog. One event says that you finished your first squat. It does not include the full squat count or a camera image.
The app also sends random user IDs and details such as your phone model, app version, and language. Our services receive your IP address. They can use it to estimate your city and country. The app does not ask for GPS access.
Superwall receives device IDs, app events, and checkout results. We use these to show plans, check access, and find payment problems. We share a random user ID with PostHog to link setup and purchase records.
PostHog also gets purchase records from Superwall, such as trials, renewals, and refunds. These can include the plan, price, currency, time, and transaction ID. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Ads and tracking
- Plump shows no ads.
- Plump does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. We have no ad-service connections set up.
- Plump does not sell your personal information and does not share it for advertising.
- We turn off PostHog's person profiles and screen recordings. Random IDs still let it link events from the same app install.
The app has no switch to turn off setup and purchase analytics. You can object to our use of your data by email, as set out below.
Asking for your rights
You may have rights where you live. That covers the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, and other places with data protection law.
You can ask us to show your data, fix it, delete it, stop using it, or send it to you. You can also say no to counting that runs on our own interest.
Write to plumpscroll@gmail.com. Say what you want and we will answer within 30 days. Plump holds no account, so we may need more details to find your records. Deleting the app clears local data. It does not remove data already sent to our services.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the data protection office where you live.
Children
Plump is for ages 13 and up. We use the data described on this page for teens too. Your age group stays on your iPhone; it does not prove your age. If you think a child under 13 has used the app, write to us. We will look into it and delete any personal data we can link to that child.
